From Mobile Apps Architect to AI agent architect
I'm Omer Khan — a Mobile Apps Architect and AI engineer who's been shipping software since 2013. I started as an iOS developer and grew into a Mobile Apps Architect, contracting for companies that needed someone who could own an entire build, not just a slice of it.
In 2018 — while most teams still treated "AI" as a slide in a pitch deck — I started building with it for real. That head start shaped everything since. In 2020 I founded Afiniti Global, now a team of around 20 across the UK and Pakistan. We've shipped for 50+ clients in 15+ countries, concentrated in fintech, health, and business growth, with work for education institutions too.
Today my work sits where applied AI meets product craft. I build AI agents and agentic AI systems, train custom AI models, automate the manual work that quietly drains enterprises, and architect mobile apps that hold up under real usage. Part operator, part engineer — I stay close to the code and the tradeoffs, because that's where products are won or lost.
